Ⅰ. Introduction:

The DRV-1T viscometer is an easy-to-use and reliable instrument for viscosity measurement. Equipped with an ARM chip processor, it delivers faster data processing speeds and features a high-subdivision stepper motor drive system along with a digital touch screen display. The viscometer ensures smooth and precise rotation, user-friendly operation, and provides direct on-screen readings of viscosity, temperature, timer settings, percentage torque, and viscosity characteristics of the same sample under three different shear rates (20S⁻¹, 44S⁻¹, 200S⁻¹), with a value hold function.

Both the main control board and drive board utilize surface-mount technology (SMT), and the circuit design incorporates advanced microprocessor architecture for compact and efficient layout. The instrument offers full-range calibration and linearity adjustment for all ranges via a PC interface, meeting performance and functional standards comparable to advanced international models.

Designed specifically for measuring paints and coatings, the DRV-1T rotates the spindle at a constant speed of 562 RPM. The resistance encountered by the dish or sphere spindle is automatically converted into viscosity values in cP or mPa.s. The instrument complies with ISO 2884-2 and BS 3900 A7 standards.
