This machine uses automatic scraper movement to complete the operation of fineness scraper, thus avoiding the error caused by scraper operation among personnel and improving the reproducibility of judgment results.
In the production process of chemical raw materials such as coatings, pigments and inks, it is a common method to evaluate the dispersion by using scraper fineness meter, and it is also one of the standardized methods for quality control. However, in order to get the consistent dispersion degree judgment result, not only well-trained and experienced operators are needed, but also the operation fluctuation among operators is required to be within the allowable tolerance range.
ADM-III automatic fineness scraper is a new tool to improve the evaluation method of scraper fineness meter. This machine uses automatic scraper movement to complete the operation of fineness scraper, thus avoiding the error caused by scraper operation among personnel and improving the reproducibility of judgment results.
1. Scraper speed: 0.5~150mm/s can be set at will.

A. Unpacking
1. Carefully remove ADM-III scraper fineness meter and accessories from the box.
2. Check the damage caused by improper handling by the carrier. If there is any damage, please claim compensation from the carrier immediately.
3. Check the packing list.
4. Put the machine on a suitable workbench.
B. Assembly
1. Place the slideway upward on one side of the machine.
2. Install the tool rest, and install the slideway with the bolts and wrenches in the accessories as shown in Figure 1.

C. Maintenance
1. Keep the machine working in a clean environment, and there may be dust on the upper part of the scraper.
2. Add oil before each use. If the bearing is not oiled once a week for a long time, make sure that the oil does not drip when oiling. You can oil the machine when it is running to ensure that the shaft is oiled inside and outside.
D. Scraper strength setting
1. The data on the hexagonal rod indicates how many kilograms of scraper force there are.
2. Change the strength of the scraper by changing the position of the weight on the hexagonal rod. There are two scales on the hexagonal rod, the small scale corresponds to the small weight and the large scale corresponds to the large weight. When installing the weight, the arrow on the weight faces the scraper, so that the arrow always points in the right direction.
3. When installing the weight, aim at the slot on the hexagonal rod. Only in this way can the weight be stabilized.
4. Choose appropriate weights. Excessive use will cause machine loss and shorten the service life of the machine.
E. Scraper height setting and assembly
1. The hexagonal rod must be horizontal when the machine is running, and the horizontal bubble should show the level. As shown in Figure 4, otherwise the velocity data will be inaccurate.
2. Put the scraper flat on the workbench of the machine.
3. Install the scraper on the tool rest and move it to make it work on the scraper.
4. Gently turn the scraper lifting handle clockwise to the 3 o'clock position, so that the scraper touches the scraper.
5. Loosen the lock and turn the adjusting knob of the hexagonal rod until the horizontal bubble above the hexagonal rod is level.
6. Lock the buckle.
1. ADM-III is suitable for most commercially available grinders and scrapers. Scrapers and scrapers can be purchased from our company separately.
2. The height adjustment of scraper must refer to Section E (height setting and assembly of scraper).
3. Make sure that the sliding is in the rear position, and the lifting handle of the scraper is at 9 o'clock.
4. Put the scraper on the machine workbench.
5. Please wipe the scraper and scraper with appropriate solvent to ensure that there is no dust or lint on the scraper and scraper.
6. Put a small amount of samples on the scraper path.
7. Move the slideway and move the scraper to the front of the tested sample.
8. Gently turn the scraper lifting handle to 3 o'clock to ensure that the scraper does not fall too fast, so as not to damage the scraper and scraper.
9. Press the Run button, and the slideway will move forward.
10. Press the Stop button quickly when the scraper approaches the tail of the scraper. Turn the scraper lifting lever to the 9 o'clock position, remove the scraper, and manually move the slideway to the rear. If the stop button is not pressed, the machine will run to the limit switch and stop automatically.
11. Read the data on the scraper fineness meter.
12. Clean the scraper and scraper.
